Canon Solutions America Field Service Technicians are responsible for servicing specific business system products including: black & white and color printers and copiers, facsimile equipment, document management solutions and related software. If you are goal oriented, have an interest in technology, and excellent customer service skills, this may be the position for you!

Responsibilities

As a Field Service Technician you will play a key role in the satisfaction of many loyal customers, which includes large companies and government offices as well as small to medium-sized businesses. Our Technicians are responsible for on-site service of Canon's networked digital imaging products. Working within a designated geographic territory, you'll be dispatched to various job assignments depending on the product and experience level. You'll be trained to make the necessary mechanical or electrical repairs as well as provide prevention maintenance on all machines serviced.

Qualifications

Your qualifications must include a Minimum of an Associates degree in Electronics Technology or similar field of study or equivalent business experience, and excellent customer service skills.

 

New technicians participate in Canon's 6 week comprehensive training program known as Printing & Digital Imaging Foundations, you will learn the fundamentals of the electrical and mechanical systems that are integral to the office automation process, in addition to learning troubleshooting and customer service skills. On-going training and technical certification are conducted on a regular basis throughout your career as a technician.

 

Able to lift 50 lbs and be in a mobile activity more than 50% of the time. (Walking, standing, stooping/kneeling)
Possess a Valid Drivers License
Able to work in a 24x7 environment, perform shift work and do on-call rotations (applies to those servicing PPS\LFS equipment)
