The Sales Planning Specialist will collect, analyze, and produce reports on sales performance data for Executive Management.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of key sales metrics on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly and yearly sales. Present findings and recommendations to Vice President of Sales & Vice President of Zone Administration.
  • Assist Vice President of Sales to set yearly sales targets on specific product categories and to report them on a monthly basis to all sales.
  • Provide customized reporting in support of ongoing business initiatives.
  • Partner with sales, service, & marketing departments to create reporting that will generate revenue & maintain profitability pertaining to specific areas of the business.
  • Support Regional Sales Directors in creating quarterly business operations presentations.
  • Coordinate with Sales & Inventory departments on product forecasting for large MFD placements.
  • Support Regional Sales Teams in analyzing current territories to identify business opportunities (cross selling & up selling) through D&B Market Insight & Hoovers.
  • Study the strengths/weaknesses of existing customers, and identify target customers for the Zone.
  • Maintain the Zone's customer tracking database.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required, plus 2-5 years office experience
  • Must be proactive and have excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Excel Skills including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office
  • CRM experience desirable
