Overview

Responsibilities

IMPLEMENTATION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Oversee implementation project coordinators day to day activities
  • Ensure client satisfaction and measure project for success
  • Execute standard implementation project management guidelines, strategies and deliverables
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met
  • Manage project scope and expectations with both internal and external project team members
  • Set and guide customer expectation
  • Identify, manage, and  mitigate project risks
  • Create customized workflows in Microsoft Visio for account team and external clients, documenting project processes

 

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT – 30%

  • Manage the relationship with the daily and senior level client contacts and other project leads
  • Solicit customer feedback and ideas for improvements to project
  • Resolve complaints (quickly) escalated by the administrator or other end users
  • Attend  meetings to maintain and develop relationships with client contacts
  • Interact with all members of all Business Service departments, as well as members of other support departments (i.e., payroll, HR, accounting, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with Business Services clients, Canon USA and affiliates, 3rd party vendors, and customers
  • Communicate with project stakeholders

 

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT – 10%

  • Create and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the customer relations plan
  • Maintain compliance and standards at it relates to project deliverables and tasks

 

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT – 10%

  • Ensure effective performance management with direct reports and oversee the overall process

Coach, counsel and manage implementation project coordinator team members for performance improvement. Set developmental goals and regularly monitor progress made on performance objectives.  Conduct biannual performance appraisals 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications should include a bachelor's degree and minimum of four years management experience in a related business.  Strong project management, analytical, issue resolution, organizational and presentation skills; excellent communication and customer management skills, logical thought process, self discipline, ability to multi-task, good estimating and budgeting skills and good people management skills.  PMP is preferred, but not required.
