The Solutions Graphics Dealer Advisor role is responsible for the support of the Graphics Partner program for primarily the Display Graphics group. This position will provide support for partner’s technical business requirements pertaining to the Colorado and Arizona product lines. The position will also support partner’s analyst team and will provide training and seminars on recommended software and technical solutions. Provides this expertise in addition to the Solutions Advisor’s existing Direct LFS Sales team activities.

Responsibilities

As a Solutions Graphics Dealer Advisor at Canon Solutions America, your primary focus will be to support the Graphics Partner program by supporting the technical business requirements for the Colorado and Arizona product lines. Providing expertise, training as well as seminars in addition to the solution advisor’s existing direct LFS sales team activities.

 

The Solutions Advisor will provide initial Colorado or Arizona installation and training support for the first machine purchased by the Partner. 

  • Support after the initial machine installation can be utilized for the following activities:
    • Sample file (limited to 5 sample files) support prior to Partner open houses. If utilizing Canon supplied sample files, Solutions Advisor can assist partner with adding partner branding or customization.
    • Support two (2) Partner Open House events during the calendar year.
    • Attend two (2) yearly technical seminars for Partner’s Analyst members (can be Colorado and Arizona hardware or Canon (or Onyx) software solutions focused).
    • Solutions Advisor will also provide access to existing Canon media library. Solution Advisor can also assist Partner with the development of five (5) additional media profiles throughout the calendar year.
    • Solutions Advisor will provide access numbers for the Canon Service Help Desk.
    • Solutions Advisor will provide access numbers to the Canon Application Help Desk.
    • Solutions Advisor will provide access to the Canon Knowledgebase system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 9+ Years relevant business experience plus significant experience and background in Display Graphics industry. This includes extensive knowledge of media and applications for that media.    Detailed knowledge of Canon Colorado and Arizona technology and products including in-depth knowledge of Onyx RIP software.
  • Certification(s) & License(s) LFS Specific: 
    • Understanding of complex systems solutions, integration and networking in Windows, UNIX & Macintosh environments, Understanding of color profiling systems, color calibration, ICC profiles and their effect on color gamut across various substrates. Expert in Acrobat Professional, Distiller and Enfocus Pitstop in regards to advanced PDF and PostScript file editing capabilities.
    • Knowledge and understanding of Adobe Creative Suite product.
    • Networking experience including WAN/LAN, TCPIP and network required. Network certification preferred. 
    • Color Management Professional Master Certification required. 
    • G7 Expert Certification required.
    • Advanced experience with flatbed cutting systems and associated software preferred.
  • Extensive travel required, up to 90% with 50%+ requiring overnight stays of 2-5 days per week. Regionally located near major airport required. 
  • Valid drivers’ license and acceptable driving record necessary.  Certain minimum auto insurance coverages are required.
