Overview

The Business Operations Supervisor - LFS/PPS Parts and Supplies  is responsible for overseeing the team's accurate entry of all new customer orders into the order & billing systems. Work with cross functional teams to resolve delays in the entry of orders to ensure that delivery time-frames are met.

Responsibilities

Provides day-to-day supervision of assigned personnel and accounts to ensure good customer relations and a consistently high level of customer satisfaction. Provide continual evaluation of processes and procedures. Responsible for suggesting methods to improve area operations, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers.

  • Manage the accurate entry of all orders into the order & billing systems. 
  • Assist staff to resolve complex or unique situations with internal and external customers.
  • Develops and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction. Provides liaison with customers and promptly resolves customer related concerns when they arise. 
  • Coordinate department activities and special projects to ensure quality and meet timetables.
  • Work across functional boundaries to resolve delays in the entry of customer orders to ensure that customer’s delivery timeframes are met. 
  • Identify, justify, and implement programs to increase the level of professional, technical, and customer service expertise at all levels of the department.
  • Recruit, select and develop employees within team.
  • Responsible to meet department productivity and quality goals.
  • Compile and analyze monthly reporting metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: BS Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer Skills: Strong PC skills including Excel, Word, Oracle and/or SAP
