Canon Solutions America's Solution Design Senior Analysts are responsible for conducting analysis, research, and spearheading complex and innovative solution designs for clients and potential clients. They will Lead on-site customer technology surveys, workflow analysis, workflow illustrations, workflow process reengineering, and business case preparation.

    Responsibilities

    Site Assessment & Workflow Design (30%)

    • Lead and delegate on-site customer technology surveys, operational workflow analysis, workflow illustrations (floor plans, flow charts, data graphs etc.), workflow process reengineering and business case preparation
    • Analyze clients’ intake processes, color matching requirements, and finishing needs to design go-forward recommendations
    • Coordinate with project team and client resources to understand site assessment goals and expectations
    • Clearly communicate and document customer needs and recommendations to the Proposal and Pricing Teams

     

    RFx and Proposal Design Support (50%)

    • Facilitate the solution design process for potential clients, ensuring designs maximize proposed human resources and technology offerings
    • Conduct internet research on the client, initiatives, geographic distribution, IT priorities, and current operations to customize designs
    • Compile insightful discovery questions for the client in order to facilitate an accurate design
    • Coordinate with Production Specialists to review and finalize technology (i.e. hardware, software) configurations required for RFx projects

     

    Solutions Governance (20%)

    • Provide industry expertise and innovative solutions in a fast paced, growing environment including leading the team’s innovation efforts for fleet management, technology, production, and mail while establishing best practices
    • Strong proficiency of Canon MFD, Production product line and associated software and third party products
    • Support department planning, development, and innovation goals by providing analysis and recommendations on emerging business/technology trends (i.e. cloud, digital office, AI, machine learning) and proposing new business models and offerings

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required 
    • 5-7 years relative business experience 
    • 5+ years operational and technical experience preferred
    • Intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. 
    • Experience in production print/mail operations required, fulfillment a plus 
    • Strong Presentation skills required, including the ability to interface both internal and external audiences including C-Suite
    • Strong project management, analytical, and research skills
    • CDIA+ Certification a plus
    • Requires up to 50% travel
    • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record necessary
