Canon Solutions America Major Account Sales Managers are responsible for managing a team that sells specific business system products and services including: black & white and color printers and copiers, facsimile equipment, document management solutions and related software.     Responsibilities

    • Manage a team of sales representatives who sell Canon’s hardware and software technology-based solutions to companies within a territory and/or an assigned account list
    • Train, Develop, and Coach current and new sales representatives to success
    • Achieve 100% of quota through management of a team
    • Set clear goals and allow deadlines to be met in a timely manner
    • Responsible for interviewing, conducting performance reviews, monthly plan and reviews, submitting accurate forecasts and ride days with representatives
    • Maintain proficiency in product and promotional knowledge
    • Maintain and manage all assigned company assets (i.e., pager, laptop, promo book, etc.)
    • Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
    • 7 years of progressive responsibility in sales, industry and marketing experience.
    • Extensive knowledge of Canon products and competitors
    • Valid Driver's License and accepteable driving record necessary 
    • May require up to 10% travel
