Canon Solutions America Solutions Delivery Specialists provide professional services to customers for implementing software solutions.  

    Responsibilities

    • Install, configure and integrate document management and print management solutions according to a defined solution "blueprint" and provide technical support for those implementations. Note: Travel to customer site may be required.
    • Develop comprehensive solution implementation documentation, both customer facing and internal, for the CSA Help Desk. Train and transition support efforts to customers and Post-Sales Support staff, as required.
    • Provide pre-sales technical assistance to Solutions Analysts as required for solution design
    • Resolve software problems relative to the implemented solutions through diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques
    • Ensure customer encounters are maintained at the highest level of customer satisfaction
    • Integrate our application with customer's systems using VB Script, DB queries, exe programs, dll files, APIs etc.
    • Remain up-to-date on developments within a defined portfolio of solutions (new versions, patches, competitive landscape, etc.)
    • Ensure proper documentation is maintained for operational processes
    • Execute against a personalized education and training plan

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing and supporting document management, print/output management or other complex solutions
    • Output Management, Document Management, Capture and extraction applications MCSE/MCSA/ certifications desired
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server OS, SQL Server 2008/2012/2014, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office Suite and a working knowledge of Mac OS
    • Strong grasp of networking essentials and concepts - routing, LAN, WAN, VPN, web, etc.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent programming skills on the following languages: Visual Basic, Java, C, C Sharp, SQL, HTML)
    • Network+/Security+/ CDIA+ are required (if not presently certified, they must be attained within first 3 months of employment)
