    The Large Format Solutions division at Canon Solutions America is seeking a Marketing Specialist to conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs; Develop growth strategies focused both on driving company objectives while achieving customer satisfaction. The Marketing Specialist will drive business development to initiate, develop and drive cross-product marketing initiatives and in existing and new key target markets.


    The responsibilities include marketing program, tactics, and collateral development, planning, and implementation within the Large Format Solutions Business Unit with a focus on flatbed and roll-to-roll applications. This candidate will also contribute to lead generation programs and materials and work closely with the product management/product marketing team in driving commercial opportunities in the graphic arts market.

    • New business development and requirements analysis for Canon’s Océ Large Format graphic arts printer portfolio, including market analysis to identify sales opportunities and drive cross portfolio marketing plans.
    • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs; Develop growth strategies focused both on driving company objectives while achieving customer satisfaction
    • Gathering and researching of the industry and competitors
    • Provide product marketing support by contributing to the development of materials and programs to drive leads into the sales funnel, including key vertical markets.
    • Support the sales organization with market/product expertise, delivering training and ongoing communication and support for existing products. Must be able to clearly articulate product strategies and value propositions to internal salesforce and customers.



    • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 - 3 years’ experience in a business development, vertical marketing and/or product market marketing capacity.
    • Experience selling/marketing to the graphic arts, commercial print and/or in-plant markets in a B2B environment is desired.
    • The ability to drive results in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment 
    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Strong presentation skills and influencing ability are a must.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide effective decisions based on sound judgment
    • Ability to drive the implementation of programs and objectives across teams/functions.
    • Some travel is required
