    Canon Solutions America is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team in our brand new, state-of-the-art call center located right outside of Chicago in Itasca, IL. We’re seeking high-energy, driven professionals to build relationships with prospective customers and increase awareness of Canon Solutions America’s products and solutions.

    The Business Development Representatives are responsible for of generating and qualifying new business opportunities for our company. You’ll be expected to utilize best practices to increase awareness of Canon Solutions America’s offerings and schedule appointments for our sales representatives, while exercising outstanding customer service.

    • Generate and qualify prospective customers through inbound/outbound calls
    • Work on customer driven special projects
    • Utilize reporting and data analysis functions in Excel
    • Use creativity and marketing tactics to uncover new leads
    • Utilize Sales Planning and Technical Customer Service
    • Enhance awareness of Canon Solutions America’s products and services in the targeted business community 
    • Present prospective customers with solutions that can provide value to their organization 
    • Work on CRM platforms such as to maintain client information
    • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Canon products and services during prospect engagement 
    • Ensure great customer service and response time



    • Associates degree or greater, or equivalent experience 
    • 1+ years of  experience in Sales Planning, Technical Customer Service, inside B2B Sales
    • Experience with Excel
    • Industry experience in software, printing, equipment, and/or electronics sales preferred, but not required 
    • Ability to handle questions and objections 
    • Aptitude to qualify leads 
    • Eagerness to network and uncover contact information of decision makers for prospective customers 
    • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm
