    Canon Solutions America is a Canon U.S.A. Company providing integrated systems technology that comprise one of the strongest solutions portfolios in the document management industry.  The Sr. Contracts Specialist is responsible for negotiating, securing award of, and administering GSA federal supply schedule contracts, federal blanket delivery arrangements, and certain Canon Teaming Partner Agreements.


    This individual will have responsibility for elements of our contract and bid functions. With regard to contracts, this position includes communicating with sales personnel, internal departments, legal counsel and external customers regarding the documentation to support our business.  Specific responsibilities include: processing and routing addendums for approval and signature, reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance, work with legal and business departments to identify risks and business issues.   Administers Bid functions that result in our response to RFIs and RFPs. Specific functions include gathering and responding to bids, coordinating and leveraging internal resources, holding team meetings, proactively reaching-out to various stakeholders within internal departments at Canon.

    • Main point of contact for Canon Solutions America Sales Force for document request including review and approval
    • Organize and manage documents requests until completion
    • Review all documents for business related risk
    • Review Customer Purchase Orders and Customer Contracts
    • Drafting of document addendums to contracts and Canon Solutions America agreements based on guidelines and legal counsel input
    • Create Contract profiles for those opportunities that result in a Canon Business Solutions Win
    • Review opportunity Terms and Conditions and create issues file for Sales for Canon Solutions America response
    • Responding to bids by gathering responses, coordinating internal resources, holding team meetings to bid submission
    • Coordinates and leads bid calls with Sales Executives and other subject matter experts
    • Obtain all necessary signatures and documentation required for response 



    • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience required
    • Effective communication with all internal and external customers
    • Detail Oriented, articulate
    • Excellent, strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple work assignments under tight deadlines
    • Project Management skills-plan, organize and prioritize projects
    • Diligent worker unafraid of handling administrative/clerical aspects of position
    • Facilitate calls with internal and external customers for contract negotiations
    • Fluency in Powerpoint, Word, Excel and ability to adapt to other databases or programs as assigned
