    The Finishing Product Specialist within the Production Print Solutions (PPS) organization of Canon Solutions America will lead finishing (pre/post-processing) product marketing programs and activities across the Americas driving pre/post finishing solutions for our full line of inkjet and toner printing systems and solutions to market. The successful candidate will be a  technically savvy professional, with a broad understanding of  finishing solutions and marketing programs.

    Responsibilities includes:

    • Manage new finishing solution product introductions and the product lifecycle for existing products through application of marketing and product management principles
    • Represent marketing in all Product Management Team (PMT) activities including all launch activities and deliverables
    • Coordinate with finishing partners on new product development and testing, partner programs, relationships, and communications
    • Deliver finishing partner (pre/post processing) solutions and end-to-end solution focused presentations to customer executives visiting our Customer Experience Center
    • Provide consultation across our wide customer base on how we enable world-class end-to-end solutions to drive business success for our customers
    • Insure fast and accurate communication with field sales to support their sales activities including all sales tools, documentation, and collateral
    • Provide market analysis and product positioning information to support competitive end to end solutions and pricing
    • Support business development efforts, volume building, and new market programs with sales and customer training programs and vertical segment development and programs


    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, a related technical major or a Digital Printing related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales/marketing/R&D or solution management specifically focused on inkjet finishing solutions in the printing industry. 
    • Proven success in building relationships with customers, third party vendors and associated partners
    • Acts as a role model with strong leadership skills, able to lead and motivate others
    • Excellent time-management skills.
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
    • Ability to develop future goals, strategies and tactics
    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and practices
    • Proficiency with Microsoft products
    • Ability to travel (estimated 40%)
